About James & Tara Overton
James was born in South Dakota. At a young age his parents introduced him to the Virgin Islands on a family trip. He fell in love with Caribbean blue water and the serenity of the islands. He has lived on all three islands (St Croix, St Thomas and St John) for 31 years. He chose St John to be his home as the island optimized what he had always dreamed about living in a tropical island with a beautiful white sand beach, tradewind breezes and amazing view. He was one of the contractors to joined and completed the Westin hotel resort in St. John and Ritz Carlton in St Thomas.
Sheshellsvilla is consist of three properties (Seascape Villa, Searenity Villa and Seabreeze Cottage) were built and designed meticulously by James and Tara Overton. The private compound sit on two acres gated compound professionally landscaped with each individual property is separate from one another to offer privacy. We are formerly Mandavilla Properties and have been hosting guests since 2008. We strive to earn your 5 stars experience.
Why we chose St John
St John offers beautiful beaches and an amazing view of Caribbean water and surrounding islands. There are many hiking trails, historical ruins and 2/3 of the island is National Park.
